I was just browsing through the internet... reading how the once famous pop stars were doing now. And I came across one former UK pop group star, who has been on the Celebrity Big Brother. (I know Big Brother is such an old topic it's history. Is the show still running in some countries? Thought reality TV's over... or is it?)
Anyway, the news said the star (it's a she) got evicted over some sort of "racial incidents". It had the story background, the actual dialogues and comments the star, the "victim" and some other involved parties made. Then it showed some figures of the complaints made regarding the incident. HERE, I couldn't help but wonder -- though I need to point out that I used to think Big Brother was rubbish because it showed no more than a few people having a "normal life" on screen. Yes you know it's not even "normal" it's fake for Christ's sake -- why anyone could be judged so badly, to the point the star had a breakdown after eviction, only because they said some inappropriate comments on TV? And it's no other TV, it's BIG BROTHER! Course you need some THING to make it worth watching. Or if you foolishly believe everything happened in there were real, then people were just acting like they normal did, no less, no more (no, you couldn't've believed it's real). But if it was, and the star was really such a bad character in real life, how come no one said anything about it before that incident. And suddenly she's the evil devil villain.
Why I was so fierce was because I've witnessed much worse comments people made these days, not on BB, but in our daily life. There are people are being bullied and discriminated in real life and yet no one cares to complain about it. At least the ones who gossiped and act so righteous over the incident wouldn't. Suddenly I found that Big Brother was not that bad, but the people who watched and thought they're better than the people on BB were.
